The basic needs specialty clinic goal is to help attenuate the effects of food and housing insecurity in the oak-park community. We provide adequate basic needs to our patient population as well as host monthly care package and food distribution for our unhoused neighbors in the oak-park community. In addition, we have cal-fresh certified Imani Clinic volunteers who are willing and ready to help any and everyone who walk through our doors under the Sacramento county apply for the CalFresh program federally know as the supplemental nutrition assistance program. The Basic needs specialty clinic also assists Imani patients and the oak-park community members individually based on needs. We offer common services such as consultations for skin, hair, and nails, check-ups on conditions such as moles, warts, rashes, eczema, and fungal/bacterial infections. Another important service is screenings for skin cancer, where early detection is vital.
Dermatology Clinic is hosted every fourth Saturday of the month.
Imani's Mental Health Clinic is a brand new service that intends to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive mental health resources, support, and counseling. In addition, we provide supportive psychotherapy which will include behavioral activation, problem-solving therapy, and safety-planning. Our services will be available through telehealth shortly.
With the same impetus to service the Black and other underserved populations in the area, the Imani Legal Clinic was established in 2015 as a part of the Imani (Health) Clinic specialty clinic services. Since 2015, Imani legal Clinic has provided patients with free consultations on housing issues, health insurance, and immigration services.
Legal Clinic is open every first Saturday of the month.
We aim to serve pediatric patients in the Oak Park community. We offer physical and general check-ups.
Pediatric Clinic is hosted the 2nd Saturday of each month.
Our team can provide consultations for patients presenting with existing diagnoses of coronary artery disease, heart failure, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular complications.
Cardiology Clinic is hosted every second Saturday of the month.
Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of women in Oak Park Community. Our services include pap smear (pap test), pelvic exam, pregnancy test, etc.
Mammography screening is offered annually.
