Looking to serve the African American community and members of Oak Park, Sacramento?

Welcome to the 2018/2019 school year!
As a lot of opportunities are opening for the beginning of this school year, consider becoming a volunteer at Imani Clinic!
Imani Clinic is a student run clinic based in Oak Park, our main goal being to serve the African Diaspora in the community. We have been in Oak Park since 1994, created by medical students who saw the need for Black-centered care in Oak Park.  We provide non-emergency preventive health care to the community and also test such as pregnancy and glucose test. As a volunteer you'll have the opportunity to be with the community in a clinical and outreach setting!

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS (Starting Fall Quarter 2018):
Volunteers must participate in two clinic days, two outreach events, and one fundraising eventPER quarter. Translators must participate in three clinic days, one outreach event, and one fundraising event PER quarter. Proof of health clearance is required (TB test, up to date immunizations, etc.).

We have a new volunteer cycle running from September 26th-October 10th 11:59pm. While a majority of the volunteers at Imani Clinic are pre-med students, we want to reach out to students from different specialties to come, volunteer and create ties with the under-served Black community of Oak Park.

Attached below is our flyer with more information on our information sessions and office hours to get help with your applications! Also linked below is the link to our application.
